Some rural residents in Zorra Township will have garbage collection postponed until next Monday because of the storm.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Poor road conditions means not everyone will have their garbage picked up today in Oxford County.
Some Zorra Township residents will have garbage and recycling collection postponed unitl next Monday. Garbage collection went as planned in Thamesford and Ingersoll.
In a press release, the County says they have had to deal with garbage collection delays all month.
"Oxford County continues to experience collection delays this month, first due to volume in the first weeks of January, and then as a result of staff absences due to illness and isolation requirements for COVID-19. The patience and understanding shown by residents is appreciated."
