The area has now reopened, and residents have returned home.
INGERSOLL - Residents in Ingersoll are able to return home after an apparent gas leak.
Oxford OPP responded to reports of a gas leak on Laurel Crescent at around 11:00 a.m. today.
Houses on Wonham Street, Holcroft Street., and Laurel Crescent were evacuated as a precaution, and Enbridge Gas shut off services in the area for safety concerns.
The area has now reopened, and residents have returned home.
