Gas prices are expected to rise 8-9 cents a litre by Saturday across most of the Country. This is according to President, Canadians for Affordable Energy and former Liberal MP Dan McTeague. McTeague says the uncertainty in Ukraine is going to have an impact on the pumps.

He predicts the price of oil will rise to $135 a barrel, meaning the average price of gas in Canada will reach $1.90 a litre.

Right now the average price of gas in Oxford County is around $1.55 a litre.
