Over $10,000 has been raised for the family of Kirk Carter; the man who was shot in Ingersoll over the weekend.
INGERSOLL - A GoFundMe has been set up for the man who was shot in Ingersoll on Sunday.
Kirk Carter was shot twice during an altercation when his truck was stolen. He is a local contractor and a father. He is currently in the hospital in London and will need a serious surgery to repair the damage in his arms.
He will recovering for months and will need 24 hour care. Friends of the family have started a GoFundMe page online to help Kirk and his wife Jen during these challenging times.
A meal train has also been created, so the family doesn't have to worry about cooking while going back and forth to the hospital.
Police have not been able to find the man who shot him and that person is still considered armed and dangerous.
