Good Beginnings will be hosting an open house today in order to distribute the leftover children's winter wear from the Warm Up Woodstock fundraiser.
WOODSTOCK - Good Beginnings is holding a second open house to give away leftover winter coats from the Warm Up Woodstock fundraiser.
Parents in need can bring their children to the Good Beginnings main office at 871 Dundas Street today from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to try on coats as well as snow pants, boots, hats, and mitts in a variety of sizes.
Executive Director of Good Beginnings Mary Ann Hogan says the winter outerwear is mainly for children, but they actually do have a few things for adults. She said that Good Beginnings is also able to help out those who can't attend.
"If people are unable to come by, we welcome you to phone us at (519) 290-0233 ext. 227. Please let us know what you are looking for and we'll be happy to see if we have that available. It is something that you then could pick up at a later date or we'd be more than happy to drop it off to you."
Warm Up Woodstock took place at the Good Beginnings main office on November 12th.
