The iconic WW2 aircraft will be doing the traditional flyover once again this year at the Cenotaph at 11 and they will also make a special stop at Goff Hall on Wednesday.
WOODSTOCK - Harvards will once again fly over Woodstock on Remembrance Day if the weather permits.
The Miller family sponsors the flyover every year for the Remembrance Day ceremonies in Woodstock. Last year was the first time in 29 years the Harvards didn't make an appearance in Woodstock because of the weather. Former Woodstock Police Chief and World War 2 veteran Jim Miller would sponsor the flyover every year as a way to honour the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
After he passed away, his two sons carried on with the honour of sponsoring the flyover in memory of their father. Kevin Miller has asked the pilots to also do a flyover at Goff Hall where the official Remembrance Day ceremony for Woodstock is happening this year. The legion has invited 50 people to that ceremony, which will be broadcast live on Rogers TV.
If you take a look at the skies, you should be able to see the iconic WW2 planes in Woodstock around 11:00 am.
