Oxford OPP officers found an "artificial figure" on display close to Highway 401 and Dodge Line, and it had obscenities written close to it.
SWOX - What started out as a distress call is now being treated as a hate or bias motivated crime.
The Oxford OPP received a report of someone in distress at around midnight Sunday morning.
Officers were called out to an area close to Highway 401 and Dodge Line in South-West Oxford and discovered that an artificial figure has been put on display. It also had obscenities written close to it.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released at this time.
