A barn on a farm known as a popular destination for families went up in flames Saturday afternoon. Snyders Family Farm is at the corner of Blenheim and Cedar Creek Road in Bright. Just after 1:00pm, neighbours noticed smoke coming from one of the barns on the farm. The building was formerly used as a Haunted Barn for the Halloween season and it housed the decorative props. Firefighters instructed the family and anyone within a kilometer of the blaze to leave because of a yellow-coloured smoke coming from the barn. The smoke was coming from the spray-foam insulation, which is toxic when burnt. It took fire crews from Plattsville, Drumbo, Bright and Princeton put out the blaze. No one was injured and it's not considered suspicious.
