A family owned construction company has proposed a large investment in Tillsonburg's residential market. Hayhoe Homes out of St. Thomas wants to buy 52 lots off of Colin Ave, to the east of the Quarter Town Line. The view from Trottier Drive in the photo (provided by Google). Vice President of the company Tom Looby says they talked with the Town to decide on a name for the subdivision. They decided on Reynolds Way. "The Reynolds lived on a farm not too far away. Some of the Reynolds family were rural mail carriers for a number of years. So it's definitely a very recognizable name and a positive name and we felt honoured that they agreed to let us use that name," said Looby. The Reynolds family history goes back to at least the 1880s. If approved by council, construction on the subdivision would start in March. Hayhoe Homes has been building in Tillsonburg for over 6 years.
