Environment Canada is predicting a high of 32 for today, but it will feel closer to 40 with the humidity. The temperature should drop to a low of 20 for tonight and it should be slightly cooler and less humid tomorrow.
It's a good idea for those working outside today to take regularly scheduled breaks in a cool place whenever possible. You should also drinks lots of water.
The extreme heat can pose a greater risk to seniors, young children, pregnant women, people with chronic illnesses and those working or exercising outside.
You should never leave another person or a pet in a hot vehicle, especially on a day like today.
