Reports suggest the Oxford OPP are investigating a possible home invasion in the Town of Ingersoll last night.
UPDATE: Oxford OPP say that several men entered the home on Bell Street early Wednesday morning.
Once inside, they assaulted one of the occupants in the home. The adult victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No word if anything was taken at this time and the men fled the scene on foot.
Initial investigation suggests that this was a targeted entry and there is no threat to public safety.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.oxfordcrimestoppers.com where you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
