An SUV rear ended two pickup trucks in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 on Friday.
THAMES CENTRE - Five people had to be taken to hospital after a three vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Thames Centre.
Police say two pickup trucks were waiting to merge into a construction zone, when they were rear ended by an eastbound SUV at around 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
A 48-year-old man from London was taken to hospital, along with four Wisconsin men who were 19 and 20. All of the injuries were non-life threatening and the crash closed all of the eastbound lanes of the highway for about two hours.
