Innerkip Park will be home to the third annual Hits for Hospice Co-Ed Slow Pitch Tournament on Saturday July 23rd.
INNERKIP - The third annual Hits for Hospice Co-Ed Slow Pitch Tournament will be happening Saturday July 23rd at Innerkip Park. The first pitch will be thrown at 8am and the public is welcome to watch the 12 registered teams play throughout the day.
Those who attend the tournament can test their luck at a raffle table and enjoy a beer tent.
Committee member Sarah Davidson says they also have some new additions to the fundraiser.
"We're doing pulled pork on a bun this year, just something new that we are throwing together so they are welcome to come for that. We're also doing can koozies this year just to hopefully add more to our bottom line that we're able to give back to VON Sakura House after our tournament."
Over the past two years Hits for Hospice has raised $16,600 for Sakura House. This year they are hoping to raise just over $8,000 more for the cause.
