The Salvation Army Woodstock is looking to help those who might need help with groceries.
WOODSTOCK - A transformation is coming to food assistance in Woodstock.
The Salvation Army will host the HOPE Market on Thursday and Friday at 769 Juliana Drive. It is modeled after a grocery store, and allows customers to ‘shop’ for their preferred food items at no cost, accommodating dietary needs and cultural diversity. Between 250 and 350 Woodstock residents benefit monthly from the HOPE Market. Monetary donations are preferred over non-perishable food items to ensure a supply of fresh options.
Community members, donors, and mission partners are invited to an Open House for the HOPE Market on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.
