Huron Perth Public Health is booking booster shots at their mass vaccination sites the old fashioned way, over the phone as their online system is down.
Huron Perth Public Health is trying to keep up with the public demand for booster shot vaccinations.
HPPH mass vaccination clinics are being filled to capacity. The online booking system has been closed due to technical issues and this has caused some issues for residents trying to book an appointment. A new online booking system will not be available until mid-January.
In the meantime, HPPH has staff working 7 days a week right now to help you book your appointment. You can fill out a form to request a booking at www.hpph.ca/vaccinebooking or by calling the HPPH booking phone line, 1-833-753-2098, is open. HPPH is booking their appointments the old fashioned way over the way. They are dealing with a high number of calls, so it might take a bit for them to get back to you, after you leave a message.
Vaccine priority will be for the following groups:
- Healthcare workers and those in congregate settings – if you work in a healthcare or congregate living setting, contact your employer if you have not already been given information.
- Education and childcare workers – HPPH will work with school boards, childcare services and related employers to provide further details.
- Pregnant individuals – if you are pregnant, you may walk in to any HPPH clinic for vaccination; no appointment is needed. We do not require a note from your primary care provider, obstetrician, or midwife. Select local pharmacies also continue to offer COVID-19 vaccines. A complete list is available at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations.
