It was an afternoon of learning and discussion at Craigowan Golf Club. The Bridges to Better Business event took place, and Michael "Pinball" Clemens was the keynote speaker.
WOODSTOCK - The Bridges to Better Business event took place at Craigowan Golf Club.
The Small Business Centre of Oxford County hosted the annual event in relation to National Small Business Week.
Keynote speaker, Michael "Pinball" Clemens knows the importance of small business.
"Most businesses are small to medium sized businesses. So, they drive our economy, they drive our way of life, they support our families, and they are the ones that make our system work. Without small business, our system does not work."
Clemens says when he spoke at the event, he wanted to encourage the audience they can be sucessful and make a difference.
He also had this message.
"Perfection itself is not the standard. The standard is excellence, and that is what we are hear to try and grow and learn."
Clemens says he was hoping to get as much or more out of the day, as the people in attendance.
