The Hawkins Tract Catfish Creek Conservation Area is closed to the public while OPP investigate the area where unidentified human remains were found.
OXFORD COUNTY - The human remains that were discovered on Saturday near Tillsonburg have now been removed by the Criminal Investigation Branch of the OPP.
OPP have closed the Hawkins Tract Catfish Creek Conservation Area to the public while they continue their investigation in the area where the remains were found.
Meanwhile, a forensic examination on the remains will be conducted by the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services, with hopes to answer questions surrounding the identification of the remains and how they got to the area.
Overseeing the investigation is Detective-Inspector Randy Gaynor of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
