WOODSTOCK - The Huron Park Huskies Varisty boys hockey team are heading to OFSAA.
They used home ice to their advantage on Tuesday winning gold at WOSSA. Woodstock won their first game 4-2 to advance to the gold medal against Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School. The Huskies came out to play in the final taking the gold medal with a 3-0 victory.
They will now take on some of the top teams in the Province at OFSAA in Collingwood from March 19th to the 23rd. Head Coach and Huron Park Department Head Brenda DeGier says the boys are starting to gel at the right time.
