WPS respond to three vehicle crash Wednesday AM
Black ice was to blame for three vehicles losing control at the same intersection this morning.
Woodstock Police say around 5:30 am they received a call that a Ford was travelling south on Hummingbird Crescent and attempted to round the corner to head east on Falcon when the car lost control and slid on to the front lawn of a residence.
Not even a minute later, a Pontiac tried to make the same manoeuvre, lost control and hit the Ford.
Then a Dodge Caravan came around that same corner and also wiped out, crashing into the Pontiac.
Police say there was black ice on the road at the time and did not lay any charges blaming poor road conditions.
Damages were estimated at $9,000.
