What started out as a suspicious vehicle investigation ended with a list of charges laid against a 34-year-old.
PARIS - A 34-year-old has found himself in hot water after he was pulled over in Paris.
Brant OPP officers pulled over a suspicious vehicle on Rest Acres Road shortly before midnight Friday night. They had reason to believe the driver had been drinking, so he was arrested and taken to the local OPP detachment for further testing.
He has since been charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol level above zero.
He has also been charged with operation while prohibited, driving a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device, disobeying a stop sign, and failure to notify change of address.
They will now appear in a Brantford courtroom next week.
