The OPP set up a R.I.D.E. check on Stover Street on Sunday.
NORWICH - A R.I.D.E check in Norwich results in charges.
On Sunday, the Oxford OPP were set up on Stover Street, and had a driver enter the check point showing signs of impairment.
Police say the driver failed a roadside Approved Screening Device test, so a 42-year-old Courtland man was charged with being novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus. He is also facing counts of failure to comply with a demand and driving with a handheld communication device.
He will be in a Woodstock courtroom next month.
