The first incident happened last Monday. Officers received a report about an impaired driver at 3:40 p.m. and they spotted that person swerving on the road and even driving up onto the sidewalk. A 24-year-old from Woodstock was not only charged with impaired driving, but also with failing to provide a breathalyzer test.
Officers charged a 29-year-old from Kitchener on Wednesday, after they spotted a vehicle hitting a curb on Nellis Street at around 9:30 p.m.. Police say he had more than double the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
A 21-year-old from Woodstock was also charged just hours later. Officers were called out to the area of Springbank Ave and Cree Ave at around 11:00 p.m. after a vehicle hit a street sign. The driver was taken to the police station, where it was discovered that he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
