Oxford OPP say they have received increased traffic complaints at the crosswalk of Blandford Street and Stratford Street in Innerkip.
INNERKIP - Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they have received increased traffic complaints at the crosswalk of Blandford Street and Stratford Street in Innerkip in the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock.
They say that the primary reasoning for the increased complaints are primarily around drivers traveling at high rates of speed across the intersection.
Police are reminding motorists that they must stop and yield the entire width of the road when a pedestrian has signaled to cross a marked intersection.
Anyone with information on instances of dangerous driving or speeding are asked to contact West Region OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
