INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Breakfast with Mayor Brian Petrie.
The event takes place each year so that the mayor can keep local business informed on what's happening in the town.
This year breakfast is set for Thursday, April 6th and The Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. Registration for the event starts at 7:30 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m.
Mayor Petrie gave a rundown of what to expect on the agenda for the event.
"We will have breakfast first, and then I'll give a presentation and speech about the state of the town to the business community afterwards."
There will be a questions period after the presentation for anyone in attendance. Tickets for the event are $45.00 for chamber members and $55.00 for non-members.
The mayor added that the funds will go back to the commerce, who distribute the funds for local support.
"It's a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce. It goes towards support local business in the community through networking and training."
