The Peterborough Petes have acquired Gavin Bryant from the Niagara IceDogs.
OHL - Ingersoll's very own Gavin Bryant is on the move once again.
The 20-year-old captain for the Niagara IceDogs has been traded to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for Guelph's third-round pick in 2026 and a ninth-round selection in 2028.
Bryant joined the IceDogs in August 2023 after a trade with the Owen Sound Attack. He went on to become the Captain of the IceDogs in January 2024.
Bryant was originally selected by the Attack in the second round, 37th overall in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. He has played in 155 games throughout his OHL career since then, scoring 40 goals and recording 78 assists during that time. This brings his point total over the three seasons to 118.
The centreman played 62 games with the IceDogs, scoring 21 goals and earning 33 assists.
