Ingersoll Run Supports Fusion Youth Centre

Run Ingersoll: Sprint Into Summer has activities for all ages and skill levels.

INGERSOLL - Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to sign up for the Run Ingersoll: Sprint Into Summer event.

It's all happening at the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre on Sunday June 14th with registration at 7 a.m. and runs starting at 9 a.m.

Manger of the Fusion Youth Centre in Ingersoll Jason Smith says, "All of the proceeds for this event will be donated to Fusion Youth Activity and Technology Centre to help with their goals of serving the youth of Ingersoll and area by providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment where youth know they belong and are empowered to make positive changes in their lives."

Run Ingersoll is taking the place of the Harvest Run this year and they have three distances to choose from; runners can participate in the 1K family run, or do a 5K loop through many of Ingersoll's beautiful parks and historic streets, or a 10K double loop. They will also have plenty to do for the whole family when the run is over with a bouncey castle, face painting, a dunk tank, Zumba and a barbeque.

The Ingersoll Pharmasave 1K Family Fun Run is free for all ages, while the Erie Thames Powerlines 5K cost $30, and the Tremblett’s Independent 10K costs $40. The prices increase by $5 if you register on race day - to register early visit RunIngersoll.com before June 11th.
