Ingersoll's Katie Rice is preparing for Nationals after winning the gold medal at the OCAA Cross Country Championships last weekend.
INGERSOLL - Another race, another gold medal for Ingersoll's Katie Rice.
She finished atop the leaderboard on Saturday, October 28th, while taking part in the OCAA Cross Country Championships.
Rice captured her second straight OCAA title and continued her very strong season. She took first place with a time of 23:28.6, which was 18 seconds faster than the second-place runner.
Up next for Rice and the rest of Fanshawe's Women's and Men's Cross Country teams will be a trip to Truro, Nova Scotia for Nationals. The race will take place on Saturday, November 11th, and be hosted by Dalhousie Agricultural College.
