Chad Price stopped by the Heart FM studio yesterday to talk about his single Love Song and some of his upcoming projects.
WOODSTOCK - A local musician is back in town.
Chas Price is originally from London, Ontario and now lives in Atlanta. He moved to Atlanta after his partner, Brittni Donaldson got a job as the assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks.
You might have heard his single titled Love Song playing on Heart FM. Price says there are many musicians that he draws from while writing and performing music.
"The ones that stand out off the top of my head are John Mayer, I just love his songwriting. I love Norah Jones, and Maggie Rogers is a contemporary one that I love. She just released a song and I can't stop listening to it actually. So, folks like that are huge inspirations to me."
He adds, he has been able to see family and friends while writing music in his home province.
Price mentions that traveling is something he enjoys in order to further his craft.
"Nashville's only about a three-hour drive from Atlanta, so I have been spending time up in Nashville working with various songwriters and artists."
He says that he enjoys being on the business side of the industry, and he believes that to move forward you have to have some business savvy.
Chad Price stopped by the Heart FM studio for an interview with Dan and Marcie on Monday February 12th. You can listen to the full interview below:
