eDash is an electronic patient access and flow dashboard.
TILLSONBURG/INGERSOLL - Some new technology is helping things run smoother in the Emergency Departments for Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll.
They both worked with the Woodstock Hospital's Information Technology Team over the past six months, so they could create an electronic patient access and flow dashboard.
It's called eDash and it's able to show real-time data, so hospital staff can check the status of emergency department and inpatient beds. The technology can do this by using non-identifying patient information from the hospital’s electronic health record. It's important to note that all patient information will be kept private and secure.
The two hospitals received funding from Ontario Health’s Pay for Results program back in the fall, which made this all possible.
