Woodstock Police say there have been seven occurrences that have happened around the city since early August, including at the dog park on Henry Street yesterday morning.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to find the person or people responsible for leaving sewing needles scattered across Woodstock.
At least 7 occurrences of this dangerous and deliberate action have happened in the city since early August. The most recent case was yesterday morning at the dog park on Henry Street. The playground equipment at Southside Park has been targeted multiple times and it has even happened at the playgrounds at the Central Public School.
This is an active ongoing investigation that Woodstock Police Service is taking every effort to ensure the safety of children and animals in our community. Please continue to be careful in public areas and report any findings of sharps to the Woodstock Police Service immediately.
