Several cruisers, including the Criminal Forensic Unit responded to an isolated incident at the Scotiabank in downtown Woodstock this morning. We did witness several detectives at the scene as well. Police are not providing any details about the incident at this time, other than to say it was isolated and no threat to public safety.
The bank was closed during the incident and several people were outside, waiting to get in. We spoke with one gentleman who said they had booked the day off work for an appointment. The bank will likely be closed for the rest of the day, however the bank machines are still open.
