NEW YORK - The voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars, Mufasa in The Lion King, and so much more has passed away.
James Earl Jones died at the age of 93 yesterday. His agent says was in his home and he was surrounded by his family.
Jones's on-screen career also included roles in Coming to America, The Sandlot, and Conan the Barbarian. He also lent his deep commanding voice to CNN for the "This is CNN" tagline.
He won many awards throughout his career including a Grammy, a Golden Globe, an honorary Oscar, two Emmys, two Tony Awards, and a special Tony Award for lifetime achievement.
