A multi-group effort has led to drugs being seized. A search warrant was executed and as a result three people are now facing numerous drug related charges.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after police seized over $29,000 worth of drugs and just under $5,300 in Canadian cash in Woodstock.
The Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at around 5:20 a.m. this morning, with help from the Community Response Unit and London Police Service Emergency Response Unit.
Officers arrested 45-year-old Gregory James Phillips of Woodstock, 23-year-old Kevin Ebanks of Mississauga, and 23-year-old Shaquore Taylor of Toronto afterward and they have each been charged with trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine. They have also been charged with opioid possession and possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000.
