The male body has been identified, but no further details have been released.
TURKEY POINT - The Norfolk OPP has identified the kayaker that was found dead on Lake Erie.
He was spotted half a kilometer away from the Turkey Point Marina Saturday evening and officially pronounced deceased once the Canadian Coast Guard brought him to shore.
Police asked for the public's help identifying the body, who was believed to be a man in his 50s. A yellow and black Folbot kayak was found approximately 400 meters from where the man was found.
Officers were able to determine his identity by Sunday morning, but no details have been released since then.
