Southwestern Public Health wrapped up it's beach water testing program in Elgin County this week.
ELGIN COUNTY - It's a sign that summer is coming to an end in Elgin County.
This is the final week of beach water testing for Southwestern Public Health.
The Health Unit does not assess the beaches in Oxford County, but it started taking water samples from beaches Port Burwell, Port Stanley and Rodney in late June.
Warnings are issued whenever inspectors find high levels of bacteria, such as E.Coli, which would cause intestinal illness as well as ear, eye, nose, throat or skin infections.
Health inspectors post the results online here. No warnings are currently in effect at this time.
