The Oxford OPP took one person into custody on Plank Line in South-West Oxford last night.
UPDATE - One man has been arrested and facing charges due to the Plank Line incident.
Yesterday, at 5:00 p.m. Oxford OPP went to an address on Plank Line for an active investigation. As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old St. Thomas man is facing outstanding and new charges.
The charges include flight from a Peace Officer, dangerous operation, failure to stop for Police, driving while under suspension, possession of stolen property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, five counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, failure to comply with a probation order, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.

SWOX - It was a late night for the OPP in South-West Oxford.
Officers were called out to Plank Line, also known as Highway 19, at around 5:00 p.m. yesterday.
Media Relations Officer Randi Crawford posted a video on the OPP West Region X page shortly before midnight.
"Thanks to the West Region Tactics Rescue Unit and the Emergency Response Team, as well as the provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad we were able to take one person into custody."
OPP officers had to close Plank Line at Curry Road, Highway 19 southbound at Highway 401 and the eastbound on ramp for Highway 401, but stated that there was no threat to public safety. All of the roads have since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been provided at this time.
