The LDCSB is thinking about sending Grade 7 and 8 students to St. Mary's Catholic High School starting in September 2024.
WOODSTOCK - Some big changes could be on the horizon for St. Mary's Catholic High School in Woodstock.
The London District Catholic School Board is thinking about reintroducing the French immersion program starting September 2024. But that's not all. It's also considering a proposal to start sending Grade 7 and 8 students from Holy Family Catholic French Immersion, St. Michael's Catholic Elementary, and St. Patrick's Elementary to St. Mary's Catholic High School.
The school board is going to be hosting a Community Input Meeting about this at the high school on Tuesday November 21st starting at 7:00 p.m.
It's also going to be available through Microsoft Teams for those who can't be there in person, but you have to register before Monday November 20th at 4:00 p.m. You have to send an e-mail to the LDCSB Planning Department at planning@ldcsb.ca.
The school board has also created an online survey, which you can find here.
