The local Catholic French Schools in Woodstock are inviting the public to check out the Little Mermaid this weekend.
WOODSTOCK - Ecole Secondaire Catholique Notre Dame is gearing up for their Little Mermaid Production.
The play will be done in French and will feature students from Notre Dame and Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys. Cultural Facilitator and Producer of the play Seline Beaudoin tells Heart FM the play will still make sense to the English speaking audience.
"The entire production is in French but we do have subtitles just above the stage in English to help those who do not really understand the French. So even if you don't understand French you can still understand the play because we have the subtitles going throughout the entire play."
She says all of the original songs will be sung in French and the show promises to be fun for the whole family.
The show is open to the public on Friday night at 7:30 pm and another presentation will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
