Animal Welfare Services is now investigating after police found about 40 calves, two piglets and a turkey abandoned in Haldimand County.
HALDIMAND COUNTY - A possible animal cruelty investigation is underway after police responded to a report of abandoned livestock in Haldimand County.
Haldimand OPP say it looks like someone abandoned a turkey, two piglets and about 40 calves. Two of the calves were found dead and the surviving animals are in critical condition and have since been removed from the property by Animal Welfare Services.
