Loblaws says the price freeze for No Name products will remain in effect until January 31st, 2023.
CANADA - Loblaws has announced a price freeze for all No Name products.
It will be in effect until January 31st, 2023 and it's going to affect over 1,500 grocery items with the distinctive black and yellow packaging.
Loblaw Companies chairman Galen Weston says this is in response to spiraling grocery bills due to double-digit food inflation. He says the average basket of groceries is up about 10 percent this year, and it's even higher when you include some items like apples, chips, and soup.
