Local Cleaning Company Manufactures Covid-19 Disinfectants

Easy Way Products Cleaning Products in Woodstock now has three new products that are officially approved by Health Canada as items you can use to combat COVID-19.

WOODSTOCK - Easy Way Products Cleaning Products in Woodstock is doing their part in the battle against COVID-19.

They have recently manufactured three new products to help with the cleaning and sanitization efforts happening around the country. The products are being sold now across Canada and include, EW256 which is a concentrated disinfectant, Antivi RTU which is a ready to use Disinfectant Cleaner and Elemental Hand Sanitizer. All three products have been given approval from Health Canada and are on the authorized list from Health Canada as products to use to combat COVID-19.

Facility Specialist Rob Nunns says the disinfectant products can be used anywhere.

"These products are both hospital grade products and can be used in any facility on any hard surface. These are disinfectants and in order for them to work properly, they are kind of the last line of defence. People have to understand the difference, you still need to clean first and the disinfectant is the process after that is going to kill the bacteria and the viruses."

Nunns says the hand sanitizer is alcohol free.

"It is a an alcohol free based product, it is a great product, it is called Elemental Hand sanitizer. It is easier on your hand because it doesn't have alcohol, it is a nice foaming product and it is non flammable and does not have a strong odour."

Customer Experience Manager Robert Felker says they have been pretty busy during the pandemic.

"We are a distributor but we are also a manufacturer, so we have been very busy and the emphasis right now is to make sure everyone is healthy and safe and we have been working with a number of different industries, municipalities and different facilities around Southwestern Ontario with obviously the COVID related products but we are also involved with cleaning equipment, first aid, garbage bags and everything else."
