Local police briefs include a two vehicle crash in Woodstock, a theft from the LCBO in Woodstock and an impaired driver in Long Point.
WOODSTOCK - A 49-year-old Woodstock man is facing several charges after an apparent hit-and-run Friday evening in the Friendly City.
Police say the suspect failed to remain at the crash that took place shortly after 4:30 p.m. near Parkinson Road and Brick Pond Lane. Officers say the suspect rear-ended a vehicle, then took off at a high rate of speed.
The suspect was arrested Saturday - and charged with: Failure to Stop After an Accident, Failure to Report an Accident, and Dangerous Operation of a vehicle.

WOODSTOCK - A 29-year old woman was arrested over the weekend after someone stole two bottles of alcohol from the LCBO on Dundas Street in Woodstock.
She was arrested by Woodstock Police Friday night and she has been charged with theft under $5,000.

LONG POINT - A 25-year old Mississauga woman is to appear in Simcoe Court following a two vehicle crash on Saturday.
Norfolk OPP responded to the crash on Erie Boulevard in Long Point shortly before 9:00 p.m. along with the County's Paramedic Services and the Fire Department.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged the woman with impaired driving.
