This year's Oxford County Relay for Life has reached its 300 thousand dollar fundraising goal. More than 87 teams came out to College Avenue Secondary School in support of the Canadian Cancer Society last night. Survivor Chuck Phelps says he didn't expect this year's walk to be so emotional for him. "Last year I led the walk with a lot of bad news and a lot of things on my head and this year was worse because I realised some of those people were not here that were walking with us last year and it really started to hurt." Phelps says he takes a daily chemotherapy pill that costs $5400 a month and if it wasn't for events like the Relay for life he doesn't know if he would be alive today.
