Now that all your presents are unwrapped, thieves appear to be on the prowl. OPP are reporting arresting a 16-year-old from Waterloo, in connection with a break and enter in Seabringville. While the homeowners were away on Boxing Day, police say the young offender broke into a home, stealing a number of item, including the SUV sitting in the driveway. Police were called by a concerned citizen and were able to make the arrest and recover the stolen vehicle. Early this morning (around 5AM) in St. Mary's, police were called about suspicious behaviour around a home. Police found tracks in the snow, showing a suspect had gone to several homes, checking for unlocked window and doors. Police are looking for a 6? tall male with a black hooded jacket that may have been driving a silver Impala. Police say the incidents should serve as reminders to make sure your windows and doors are locked to prevent a break-in.
