You might be able to spot film crews in downtown Woodstock today, tomorrow and on Friday shooting scenes for the Netflix show Locke and Key.
WOODSTOCK - Filming for the Netflix series Locke and Key will start today in downtown Woodstock.
Today they will be filming daytime exterior and interior scenes at the Woodstock Public Library. Production crews have spent the week getting the City ready for filming. They have been creating and converting store fronts for the series.
Filming will continue on Thursday and Friday at Museum Square with scenes at Ironworks Kitchen, the Museum and Museum Square.
Several roads in the downtown area will be closed at various times to allow for filming.
Locke and Key is a popular drama series on Netflix. It follows 3 siblings who move to their ancestral home after the murder of their father. The siblings soon discover the house has magical keys that gives them a vast array of powers and abilities. It is based on the best selling graphic novels and premiered on Netflix last February.
In his official delegation request, Geoffrey Smither with Matheson 3 Productions Inc says they would film one daytime scene in Museum Square and two other scenes once it gets darker outside. The scenes will span two episodes of the show's third season.
