Norfolk County OPP officers spotted the car travelling at over 135 km per hour in a 80 km zone on Highway 59 in Windham on Tuesday.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A 22 year-old man from London has been charged with stunt driving.
Norfolk County OPP stopped a car on Highway 59 in Windham on Tuesday just after 10:00 am, when officers saw the vehicle travelling at a high speed.
The car ran through the radar at over 135 km per hour in a 80 km/h zone.
Police have charged John Robert Porter with racing a motor vehicle and speeding.
OPP are reminding all motorists that the minimum fine is $2,000, if they're convicted, an automatic driver's licence suspension for seven days and your vehicle will be impounded for seven days as well.
The driver is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
