Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says the cloudy skies will be sticking around in Oxford County this week.
OXFORD COUNTY - From hot and dry to wet and humid.
We have been experiencing one extreme to another when it comes to weather in Oxford County.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Gerald Cheng blames the recent rainfall on moisture coming from the Atlantic Ocean. He says the conditions should improve tomorrow.
"As we head into late Wednesday the conditions will improve as this moisture continues to head east. So it will track east and avoid Southern Ontario slowly."
Cheng adds another wave of moisture will move in from the west on Thursday; bringing more unsettled weather.
We can expect similar conditions for Friday and Saturday, but Cheng says the weekend won't be completely ruined.
"It's not going to be a washout necessarily. It's just one of those bright and sunny early in the day, clouds develop in the afternoon and showers develop in the afternoon kind of pattern."
We might be in for some sunshine on Sunday.
