Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford visited Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese to film an episode of the upcoming television series 'Great Canadian Cookbook.'
OXFORD COUNTY - Celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford was in Oxford County this week filming an episode of her new show Great Canadian Cookbook at Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese.
Cheese maker Shep Ysselstein says it all came together very quickly.
Ysselstein says he made her a traditional style mac and cheese which he learned to make while living in Switzerland.
He says the experience was a lot of fun. "Any exposure is good but especially something like this where -- I don't think I realised how popular Lynn actually is and how popular her shows are -- but it's just a great way to get our name out there and see that people are interested and perhaps come and buy our products and try something out that she tried out."
"She's a really dynamic person, asked great questions. Sometimes -- you know -- when you when you do tv things it kind of can feel awkward and what not but her, the way she approaches it is very natural, just like anybody else visiting the cheese factory."
The episode is expected to air in early July.
