A late-night hankering for a hamburger has landed a man with drunk driving charges. It was after 3:30 Sunday morning when police were called, indicating a man going through a McDonald's Drive-Thru in the city was drunk at the wheel. Breath tests at the side of the road indicated the driver was impaired and he immediately had his license suspended and vehicle towed and impounded for 3-days. His name and age are not being released. Woodstock Police say it was yet another busy weekend with 8 crashes, many of them resulting in charges for disobeying stop signs, failing to yield, or careless driving.
