Police are investigating a case of mischief at the former Maple Lane Public School in Tillsonburg.
TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP is investigating a break and enter at the former Maple Lane Public School in Tillsonburg.
Police say someone broke into the school on Monday night, setting off the alarm. Tillsonburg Fire Department was also called to the scene as somebody pulled the fire alarm. An investigation revealed that the suspect or suspects got into the school through a boarded up window and set off the fire extinguishers inside.
No other damage was reported and nothing was taken. The investigation into the mischief is continuing.
"The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that are in your neighbourhoods. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area. When In Doubt, Call And Have Police Check It Out!"
